Perceptions

Perceptions are according to the measure of the individual and not according to the measure of the Universe.

"We have used our wealth, our literacy, our technology, and our progress to create the ticket to unreality which stands between us and the facts of life...experiences of our own contriving begin to hide reality from us...transforming us from travellers into turists."

A 'helpful' observation must somehow contribute to betterment in the future, no matter how true and erudite it may be.
Can we assume this will happen,
or should we look for some proof?

The quality of my perception is the function of alert, attentive observation.

Perspective can put perception into a context.
Perception is a prerequisite to perspective; but thereafter it often unwittingly becomes a consequence of that perspective.

Or, to put it another way: there can be no perspective without some observation of some kind, but once there is perspective it then influences perception thereafter.

This can be a genesis of prejudice.
